Fascinated by American musicals from a very early age, Bett Betty - aka Marie Nosmas - has that obvious, lively presence that you owe to the years of theatre that preceded her arrival on the music scene. Generous stage energy, just the right amount of tongue-in-cheek, a pulpy, distinguished style that packs a punch, Bett Betty has aplomb and an imposing voice. She is accompanied on the piano by her long-time sidekick, Joe Valentine - alias Gabriel Rigaud - a composer and multi-instrumentalist known for his improvisational mischief and zany wit.
