In partnership with the association Jazz dans les Vignes, Domaine Galuval welcomes the 'Harry Allen Quartet' for a concert in the heart of the estate, followed by a tasting of the estate's cuvées.
Considered the "Frank Sinatra of tenor" by jazz critic C. Michael Bailey, American Harry Allen is undoubtedly one of the world's leading saxophonists. He is one of the tenor saxophone's greatest international ambassadors. Specializing in mainstream jazz and bossa nova, he has shared the stage with such prestigious musicians as Tommy Flanagan, John and Bucky Pizzarelli, Scott Hamilton and Ray Brown. Both in style and sound, he evokes the tenor greats Coleman Hawkins, Ben Webster and Flip Phillips.
