After studying clarinet and saxophone at the conservatories of Ajaccio and Aix-en-Provence, Eric Fillou turned his focus to improvised music, jazz, and all forms of spontaneous musical creation.
He earned his FNEIJ Contemporary Music Diploma with honours from the Professional Music Training Institute. He later shared his expertise as a teacher at the music schools of Peynier and Barjols.
Drawing on this rich experience, he has recorded with several musical groups, including République Démocratique du Mambo, Hot Peppers Ltd, JMU, and Les Diables.
He also collaborated with DJs Delcroix and Delatour on the track *A Sky Full of Stars*, which has amassed more than 200,000 views to date.
Throughout the years, however, it is as a solo performer that he has built much of his reputation, entertaining guests at private events across the French Riviera. He also performs regularly in clubs, restaurants, and a variety of live venues.
