Synopsis:
Bangui. Robert is 17 and dreams of a career in music. But he is not an ordinary Central African; he is a Congolese refugee. When his parents are arrested, he is left to care for his four younger siblings on his own. He juggles odd jobs and studying for his high school exams, all while dodging the militias that terrorize the city. One day, he learns of an upcoming music competition. Winning becomes his only hope.
