This season, the Ben Aïm brothers are collaborating artists at Les Salins and are coming twice! Having been received in 2020 with Mirages les âmes boréales, they continue their exploration of a sensitive ecology, embodied at a child's level by questioning our relationship to water and the world.
Omnipresent in our bodies and in our imaginations, water surrounds us and constitutes us. Guided by the text of author Mariette Navarro, the acrobatic duo takes us on a journey along the water's edge and the sensations it evokes. It all begins in a kitchen that becomes a testing ground for experimentation and investigation: the water becomes capricious, flowing less and less frequently, and sometimes sand appears in its place. A sense of longing and impatience takes hold. From scene to scene, we delve into dreams, memories of swimming, and inventions linked to this vital element. A playful and profound piece where dance, circus, and theater intertwine to celebrate this unpredictable element, a symbol of life and freedom.
