Description
As part of Disability Month, the City of Menton is organizing an awareness-raising day open to all, on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10am to 5pm, at La Voûte n°1 (Sablettes).
Organized in partnership with a number of medical and social organizations, the aim of this event is to raise awareness of the various forms of disability and encourage dialogue with the general public. Throughout the day, visitors will be able to obtain information, exchange views and receive support from professionals and committed associations.
Designed to be both educational and convivial, the day will feature a number of interactive workshops for families, including sensory workshops, an introduction to parahandball, a treasure hunt, the discovery of sign language and an inclusive walk from Les Sablettes to the port of Garavan.
These activities will be co-hosted by teams from the Service Périscolaire et Loisirs Éducatifs and students from the IUT de Menton.
