On Saturday June 17th, as part of the European Archaeology Days, the Via Julia Augusta will be in the spotlight in Menton and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, with a game trail right through the heart of the towns.
10am in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin :
Animation trail (approx. 2h) l'Aventure Temporelle on the Via Julia Augusta Vol.2 - Free access
Departure and return: Lumone Tomb (41 Av. Paul Doumer)
A game trail alongside Pastourelle, the fabulous treasure hunter. With the participation of Christine Didier, who will be retracing the centuries-old history of this Roman vestige, which is still clearly visible.
2pm in Menton:
Animation tour (approx. 2 hours) l'Aventure Temporelle on the Via Julia Augusta Vol.1 - Free admission
Free departure from 2pm from Place Clémenceau (possible until 4pm) to continue the Adventure in the narrow streets of Menton, with 3 guides along the route to accompany you.
6pm in Menton :
Roman skit performed by actors from the Compagnie 1,2,3 CAT - Free admission
Right in the heart of the historic centre, on the steps of the Saint-Michel ramps, the Compagnie 1,2,3 CAT tells you the great mystery of the theft of offerings in Roman times.
