Description
As part of the European Archaeology Days, the Musée de Cassis will be opening its doors on Saturday June 13, 2026 to give you a better understanding of this discipline.
For the past 16 years, the European Archaeology Days (EAD) have invited the public to delve into the past and explore the material traces of societies dating back to prehistoric times. Over the course of three days, thousands of events are offered to everyone throughout France and Europe: special open houses at excavation sites, educational and fun activities, meetings with researchers, lab tours, exhibitions, film screenings, and more.
In Cassis, the Museum of Art and Folk Traditions welcomes you from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to explore an exhibition featuring archaeological artifacts and to watch a film screening.
