Description
In 1997, Bernard Baudin followed the workers at the Morel-Barneron cardboard factory in Valréas, which was facing closure, and documented their struggle to save their workplace.
These images bear witness to the solidarity, ingenuity and history of a family business and generations of workers on the cardboard production lines since 1895.
Through this project, Bernard Baudin transforms photography into a tool for preserving memory and social testimony. His work pays tribute to the individuals and communities who resist, create and tell their stories.
