Mirabeau exhibition showcases the richness of the village’s geological and historical heritage, from prehistoric times to the filming of Claude Berri’s movies, including a famous orator, ferries, bridges and the Liberation of 1944.
Come and explore, with all the family, display cases filled with fossils, prehistoric bear bones, Roman coins, medieval ceramics and tools once used by local farmers. You will also discover a collection of portraits of the Count of Mirabeau, maps and rare photographs of the Mirabeau bridges and the Liberation in August 1944, as well as a container used by Resistance fighters and an American anchor.
