From June 13 to September 26, 2026, discover the temporary exhibition "Pierre Gimmig: au clair de lumière de la Provence" at the Musée d'Art et Traditions populaires in Cassis.

The museum presents a retrospective of works by the Marseille artist Pierre Gimmig (1877–1942), who devoted his artistic career to Provence: rocks, scrubland, and Mediterranean coastlines form the heart of his work. Having exhibited little during his lifetime, this retrospective offers visitors the chance to trace his artistic journey and appreciate his tribute to the Marseille region through his paintings. Museum hours: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Free admission
