La Maison Close presents Rebonds, a collaborative installation combining painting and photography with contemporary creations linked to the Arles region.
Rebonds
Pierre Marie Brisson & Hervé Hôte
Curated by Coco Dolle and Josette Sayers.
This project brings together the practices of these two Arles-based artists, focusing on fragments, materials and traces.
Following his major exhibition at the Palais de l'Archevêché, Pierre Marie Brisson continues a more intimate conversation here.
For over ten years, Hervé Hôte has been collecting raw materials, concrete, bricks and plaster from building sites, bearing witness to the transformations of Arles. Pierre Marie Brisson echoes the photographer's images, giving them a reinvented form with a painter's signature.
This alchemy gives rise to works that oscillate between brutality and beauty, recycled from the past and infused with new imprints.
Rebonds offers a sensitive encounter between two points of view, where memory, architecture and the poetry of materials meet, in a presentation of contemporary creations linked to the Arles region.
