The Mouriès Media Library is offering children a programme of activities based on the theme ‘Fantastic and Wild Nature’

Organised by the La Regalido Media Library in Mouriès, as part of the departmental programme ‘Nous, sorcière et sauvage’ - From 17 April to 7 May - Family time: games, open workshops, book selection (During the school holidays and on Wednesdays during opening hours, and on Thursday 30 April from 4pm to 6pm) Free admission - Wednesday 22 April - ‘Little creatures of the woods’: Workshop on creating booklets and making stamps After a shared reading, create your own booklet and illustrate it with a stamp you’ve made yourself using linocut printing. 10.00 am – Parent-child workshop for 4–6 year olds (1½ hours) 2.30 pm – Children’s workshop (ages 7–12) (2½ hours) Free, booking required - Friday 24 April at 7 pm - “The Beast”: Lecture-performance by the LOBA Company Did the wild man ever exist? Jean Durruti, a solitary night watchman at the Natural History Museum, invites us to a passionate, immersive talk – a true audio investigation. Duration: 50 mins, for teenagers and adults Free, booking recommended - Saturday 25 April at 10.30am - ‘Storytime and the Magic Tree’: Shared readings and kamishibai Stories about spring and creatures of nature to enjoy as a family, followed by a drop-in workshop to bring the creatures to life on the magic tree.
