As part of the ‘Femmes’ festival, Casino Joa is hosting a dance and singing performance by the Maalma company, Qanun music with Hend Zouari, and a screening of the film ‘Everybody Loves Trouda,’ followed by oriental sweets.

Synopsis: Touda dreams of becoming a Cheikha, a traditional Moroccan artist who sings without modesty or censorship about resistance, love and emancipation, passing on lyrics that have been handed down for generations. Performing every night in the bars of her small provincial town under the gaze of men, Touda nurtures the hope of a better future for herself and her son. Abused and humiliated, she decides to leave everything behind for the bright lights of Casablanca... Please note: tickets for all festival screenings cannot be returned or exchanged. Reservations guarantee entry only up to 10 minutes before the start of the screening. After this time, the seat may be returned to the queue. Punctuality is therefore essential!
