Description
The Glanum Festival returns to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence with a new programme in 2026!
The Glanum Festival is organised by the ‘Musicades des Alpilles’ association.
Thursday 16 July 2026: Le sacré, la voix et l'absolu
Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater opens the festival with a special collaboration between Philippe Jaroussky, the greatest countertenor of his time, and Gwendoline Blondeel, accompanied by Les Accents under the baton of Thibault Noally.
Friday 17 July 2026: La nuit comme territoire de l'imaginaire
The night continues as a realm of the imagination with Romain Leleu, performing as part of a sextet, in a Nuit Fantastique featuring virtuoso flourishes, before giving way to the Nuits du Monde, led by Marina Viotti, who made her international debut at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games. In a trio with Léonard Disselhorst and Gabriel Bianco, joined by a string quintet, she celebrates the launch of her new album with intimate and deeply embodied music.
Saturday 18 July: Le théâtre musical comme nouvel envol
The festival’s highlight, the new version of West Side Story, created especially for the Festival de Glanum, brings together the finest French jazz musicians, the Orchestre Appassionato, conducted by Mathieu Herzog, with Neïma Naouri on vocals. An original, daring and resolutely contemporary production.
