Liberation Day Celebrations in Martigues
- Friday, August 21st, at the La Couronne market square.
5:30 p.m.: Wreath-laying ceremony.
6:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.: Night market.
6:30 p.m.: Ceremony preceded by a parade of military vehicles from the town hall annex to the war memorial.
7:00 p.m.: Concert by "No Name," followed by a meal.
- Saturday, August 22nd, in downtown Martigues.
6:15 p.m.: Parade with military vehicles departing from Cours du 4 Septembre.
6:30 p.m.: Official ceremony at the 1939-1945 war memorial.
8:00 p.m.: Performance by the band "Plan B" in the Île district.
