Take part in the Saint Éloi festival from 2026 in the centre of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence!
Programme for Saint Éloi 2026:
- Friday 29 May at Manade Caillan:
FREE - Tour of the herd and branding at 7pm
Refreshments and barbecue, with a DJ
- Saturday 30 May:
8am: Blessing of the tortillades on the forecourt of Saint Martin’s Collegiate Church
9.30 am: Morning serenade for the authorities at the town hall
6 pm: Presentation of the cart and handover of power between the Bayles of 2025 and 2026 in front of Saint-Martin Collegiate Church
- Sunday 31 May:
7am: Mass at Mas des Bayles, Mas de Jonquerolles, 35 Chemin de Chalamon, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence
8am: Breakfast for horse owners, cart drivers and members of the brotherhoods at Mas de Jonquerolles
10.30 am: Parade of horse-drawn carts in Saracen style, attended by the Lady of Saint-Rémy and her ladies-in-waiting, folk groups, Arlésiennes, whip-crackers, the festejaires, the Pena Lou Carretier, equestrian groups and the children’s cart.
11.00 am: Blessing of the cart in front of Saint Martin’s Collegiate Church
1.00 pm: Lunch at the Mas de Jonquerolles
Menu: Landaise salad, bull stew, cheese, dessert and wine included.
