France’s National Day will be celebrated in Istres on Monday, July 13 from 7:30 pm, with a programme combining official ceremonies, a parade, musical entertainment, a popular dance and a fireworks display.
The evening begins with a military ceremony on the Esplanade du Général-de-Gaulle, followed at 8:00 pm by the traditional civilian and military parade through the city centre, from Collège Pasteur to the Esplanade du Général-de-Gaulle, passing through the main streets of Istres.
From 9:00 pm, festive entertainment continues with the Ferrari orchestra performing on Allées Jean Jaurès. A popular dance, hosted by the “Rêve d’Étoiles” orchestra, will take place from 9:30 pm to midnight on Esplanade Bernardin-Laugier, offering a lively and friendly atmosphere.
The highlight of the evening will be the fireworks display at 10:30 pm over the shores of the Étang de l’Olivier.
A new feature this year allows a privileged view of the fireworks from the roof of the Town Hall. Access will be granted by draw, supervised by a judicial officer, with online registration open from June 15 to 28, 2026, and the draw taking place on June 29.
