Description
By Nadine AMATE and students from Gérard Philipe secondary school in Cogolin and Le Moulin Blanc secondary school in Saint-Tropez.
Opening on May 15 at 11 am.
With "Le Temps des fleurs", Nadine AMATE offers an initiatory journey where nature, memory and transmission interact. An artist and teacher, she explores the cycles of life and the processes of inner transformation through painting, drawing, sculpture, calligraphy, writing and music.
The exhibition is divided into two sections. The first presents the artist's personal works: paintings, drawings, sculptures and texts compose a sensitive landscape between strength and delicacy, where memory, nature and the imaginary intersect.
The second section features works by students from Gérard Philipe secondary school in Cogolin. Their work explores the cycle of the seasons, the garden and social transformation, notably through the UN's "Orange the World" campaign against violence against women.
The tour continues with sensory devices to activate memory (puzzles, nature memory, mandalas, calligraphy) and an immersion in the world of the Impressionists with Cézanne, Degas, Monet, Morisot, Pissarro, Renoir and Sisley.
