Description
As part of Disability Month, the Heritage Vault welcomes Gabriel ǀ Cocteau, lignes en héritage, an exhibition featuring several works by Gabriel, a 14-year-old resident of Sospel who has an autism spectrum disorder.
The artist has developed a personal graphic universe marked by strong lines, free gestures and spontaneous expression. Her work is in subtle dialogue with the legacy of Jean Cocteau, whose influence can be seen in the lines, faces and compositions. This artistic proposal, supported by the Handiway association in partnership with Fred & Great Art Gallery, is part of a desire to make art accessible to all.
