Description
Glanum's summer vacation workshops: a half-day of fun for the whole family, from 7 July
For the summer vacations, we're offering workshops for children and parents to discover and understand the ancient world.
On the programme:
- TUESDAY 7 JULY
Fanzine (ages 7 and over): Immerse yourself in the creative world of fanzines through folding, collage, drawing and experimentation, to bring your vision of the Glanum site to life. Combine the site’s history with your creativity to create your own mini-magazine.
- TUESDAY 16 JULY
Period Costumes (ages 5–6 and up): A workshop where you can dress up as a Gallo-Roman and discover everything that clothing in antiquity hides (or reveals). Afterwards, you’ll know it all! And why not have a quick photo shoot at the end to capture the memories of this afternoon?
- TUESDAY 21 JULY
A home for everyone (ages 6 and over): To give little creatures a home, come and build a hedgehog shelter with a nature guide from the LPO (League for the Protection of Birds and Nature).
- TUESDAY 24 JULY
Art Toys (ages 7 and over): Create your own Art Toys alongside artist Ben Sanair. You’ll go home with the figurine you’ve modelled and packaged in a blister pack, just like a pro!
- TUESDAY 27 AUGUST
Create your own Glanum board game (ages 7 and over): Together with artist and illustrator Ben Sanair, create your own board game. You’ll include all the elements you like, taking into account the history of the site and its archaeology.
- TUESDAY 31 AUGUST
Art Toys (ages 7 and over): Create your own Art Toys with artist Ben Sanair. You’ll take home the figurine you’ve modelled and packaged in a blister pack, just like a pro!
