The patron saint's festival kicks off with a bang first thing in the morning! All over Guillestre, the Harmonie de la Lyre des Alpes band is sure to wake you up with joy!
10:30 a.m.: Marian procession at the church.
11:00 a.m.: Mass of the Assumption
4:30 p.m.: Place Albert—Sign-up for the zany “Street Ski” race (commentated by two improv theater pros), so we don’t forget just how fantastic skiing is! Skis will be provided, and if you have boots, be sure to bring them.
7:00 PM: Technical Stage—theater performance “League and Legend” by Cie 15ft6. Running time: 40 min. Ages 3 and up. Fly like a butterfly and sting like a bee. His fists cannot touch what his eyes cannot see.
8:45 PM: Lantern distribution next to Place Salva -
8:45–9:45 PM: Lantern parade accompanied by music from the Lyre des Alpes
10:00 PM: Fireworks CANCELED following the prefectural decree of July 24, 2026.
9:45 p.m.: Place Salva—Dance party featuring the band “Space Piero and The Tutti Funky,” a psychedelic funk-rock band with a brass section formed in the Hautes-Alpes.
