2026 Program > Saturday, September 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. — Dardennes Drinking Water Treatment Plant From Natural Springs to Your Faucet: How Does Water Become Drinking Water? What are the stages of water treatment? A tour of the Dardennes plant, located at the foot of the dam of the same name, will take you through the entire water cycle: from the raw water intake to its distribution to households throughout the metropolitan area. A fascinating immersion to better understand: resource protection, water purification processes, and issues of quality and health safety. Reservations required via the QR code on the posters (20 spots max). Closed-toe shoes required. > Saturday, September 19 at 8:30 p.m. – Maison des Comoni Lecture “The Conquest of Water” by Philippe Maurel. Free admission, no reservation required. > Sunday, September 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Guided tour of the 13th-century keep. Panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, the harbor, and the reservoir from the last remaining vestige of the castrum revesto. Free admission, no reservation required. > Sunday, September 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. - La Touravelle Guided tour of the Touravelle farm Discover this iconic estate, now designated a Sensitive Natural Area (ESN), and enjoy an exceptional panoramic view of the Dardennes Valley, the village, and the Toulon harbor. Free admission, no reservation required Parking: Park your vehicle near the Utile supermarket and the Béal pharmacy (spaces available along Chemin de la Ripelle). Walking directions: Access to the Sensitive Natural Area is exclusively on foot. From the parking lot, walk along the sidewalk on the D846 toward Le Revest/the dam for 150 m, then turn right into the La Grenette housing development. Next, follow the paved road as it winds through the hill. Signs are posted. Route Information: Distance: 1.7 km (ascent up Mont Combe) Elevation gain: +300 m Duration: approximately 35 min of climbing Recommended gear: Sturdy hiking shoes, water, and a hat or cap. A breathtaking view awaits you at the top!
