Description
SHOW PERFORMED IN ITALIAN
Freely inspired by Carlo Gozzi's The Raven and Giambattista Basile's fairy tales, The Stone Knight is a theatrical journey filled with wonder and emotion, capable of enchanting audiences of all ages.
King Palmiro lives in the shadow of a dream: the face of an unknown young woman who haunts him. To find her, he entrusts his most loyal knight, Achilles, with a mission that will take him to the ends of the earth. His journey leads him to a mysterious island, where young Armilla is held prisoner by a powerful sorceress. But nothing is as it seems: a dragon guards the secret, magic insinuates itself into every gesture, and every choice involves sacrifice.
A universe of lively and unpredictable characters unfolds around them. Among them, the comical masks of Tartaglia and Truffaldino provide an ironic, fragile, and necessary counterpoint in a world that grows increasingly dark.
And so, almost without realizing it, the fairy tale is transformed. The adventure gives way to a deeper test: that of emotions. Love, jealousy, loyalty, and sacrifice intertwine in a tale that leads to an unexpected and profoundly human ending.
In the wake of the great poetic visions of William Shakespeare and his The Tempest, the show weaves magic, emotion, and humor in a direct and accessible language. A clear story, yet dense with imagery and inspiration, where the fantastic becomes a mirror of the human soul.
A show for everyone: a journey to experience together, filled with wonder, laughter, and enchantment.
