Description
Photography exhibition - Il était une fois aujourd'hui, by Eléonore Bizeul
Marseille becomes the stage for a reinvented imagination.
Opening Thursday May 28 from 6pm
For this exhibition, fairy tales and the world of the marvelous leave their enchanted forests to take root in the vibrant, contrasting scenery of Marseille's streets. Here, the stories we thought we knew take on a new dimension: they mingle with the concrete, architecture, colorful facades and raw energy of the city.
Alice in Wonderland now traverses the narrow streets of Panier, Cinderella loses her sneaker on the subway stairs, while Petit Poucet sows plastic corks to find his way back. Each tale is revisited, questioning our times, our codes and our collective imagination.
Through these photographs, this exhibition offers an encounter between narrative heritage and contemporary creation. It invites us to rediscover Marseilles through a poetic, offbeat perspective, where the marvelous emerges at the corner of every street.
More than a simple reinterpretation, this exhibition is a declaration of love to Marseille: a city that is plural, inspiring and profoundly alive.
