The group Ensemble Choral Muzaïque and the Sanctuary Choir from the Lake Grove Sanctuary are proud to announce their joint concert, on 17June at 8:30pm at the Collegiate Church of Saint Agricol.
This exceptional event brings together two renowned choirs for a memorable evening of world-cass choral music.
The ensemble Choral Muzaïque, conducted by Gaël Florens, celebrates its twentieth anniversary with this special concert. Over the last twenty years, the choir has explored a varied repertory, ranging from contemporary compositions by Karl Jenkins, Ola Gjeilo, Paul Mealor, Eric Whitacre and Arvo Pärt, to the major works accompanied by the ARTEMUZ symphonic orchestra.Their artistic commitment and their musical excellence have earned a wide-ranging international reputation for the Choral Ensemble MUZAÏQUE.
The Lake Grove Sanctuary Choir, conducted by Wendy Bamonte, is an all-volunteer choral group of approximately 80 passionate singers. Their deep experience and their love for sacred music have led them to sing amazing performances that range from great classics by Bach, Vivaldi and Handel to gospel, spirituals and world music. In addition to their musical performances, the Sanctuary Choir is known for its ministry and commitment to charity work, including benefit concerts in Africa and local partnerships to help those in need.
This single concert is the opportunity for the two choirs to perform together, and to create an unforgettable musical experience. Captivating vocal harmony, wide-ranging styles of music and the passion of the singers will reach the hearts of one and all.
