Description
Two concerts are performed in Avignon within the framework of the 18th International Festival of Youth Orchestras in Provence.
- Friday 23 June at 7pm - Collegiate Church of Saint-Didier: Junge Philharmonie St Ursula - 40 young musicians from St Ursula-Villingen, Germany, conducted by Ursula Rittau.
A rich program emphasizing Baroque, classical and romantic periods, also music from films, and pop music. Rossini, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, Berlioz, Marquez and Queen.
- Thursday 3 August at 7pm, on the square Place de l'Horloge: Panta Rei from Louvain (Belgium), wind instrument ensemble founded in 1995.
