A painter of Provence, Jan focuses on the everyday, on silhouettes, postures and attitudes. Cafés, markets and streets are shared places filled with scenes and moments to be described through art.

A colorist, Jan uses a wide range of techniques (drawing, watercolor, ink, pastel, acrylic, oil, etching) to capture the light that shapes objects, landscapes, shoppers, street musicians and craftsmen... His teachers include Jean ARCELIN.
