To celebrate European Heritage Days, the Museon Arlaten – Musée de Provence is offering a program that combines exploring the collections, tours, workshops, and activities for the whole family.
Throughout the weekend, explore the museum at your own pace or join a guided tour of the collections led by a docent. Families can also enjoy a booth offering art workshops inspired by the museum’s collections.
Children ages 8 to 12 can try out the new quiz on the “MuseonArlaten” app: armed with a smartphone, they’ll explore the museum while learning in a fun way.
On Saturday, visitors can also go behind the scenes at CERCO—the Center for the Study, Restoration, and Conservation of Artworks—a facility equipped with state-of-the-art technology for conservation, research, and restoration. A workshop with MOPA students will also bring the objects to life through the creation of dioramas.
