Julien Beaudiment & Célia Oneto Bensaid

A former student of Sophie Cherrier, Julien Beaudiment served as principal flutist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra before taking on the same role with the Orchestre de Lyon. A shining representative of the great French school of flute playing, he now performs in the home of Jean-Pierre Rampal. A pianist described as “committed, with golden fingers” (Télérama), Célia Oneto Bensaid loves to wander off the beaten path. She joined Julien Beaudiment in his project to transcribe Maurice Ravel’s most beautiful symphonic works for flute and piano.
