La Fête de la Nature au Marais de Beauchamp

The Beauchamp site: embedded in Pont de Crau, it comprises on one side a wild marsh bordered by a footpath, and on the other side a nature area accessible to families and visitors seeking a moment of calm on the banks of the Vallée des Baux canal. The Beauchamp site redevelopment project is taking shape. The town of Arles would like to introduce all its residents to the developments underway on the Les Avettes site. From 10am - opening of the family area at the water sports center (pedestrian access via the Pont de Crau traffic circle or the Pont de Crau stadium). A basket-weaving workshop for children and families, featuring the construction of birdhouses and feeders. Biodiversity-related games and association stands: botanists, CIQ de Pont de Crau and Pont de Crau residents such as the GCA. Musical entertainment (Studio Franceschi and his students for a day rich in music). A shaded picnic area with a foodtruck (snacks and drinks). 12pm - Pot de l'amitié hosted by the Mayor and Council (Base nautique). GUIDED TOURS 4 guided tours on the theme of nature and biodiversity on the marsh site, wild plants and a visit to a bull and horse herd. Guided tour program: - When bulls shape the landscape: discovery of the Manade Fournier at 10:30 am. - Discover the biodiversity of the marshes with the Parc Naturel Régional des Alpilles at 10am. - Discover and identify marsh insects with the Conservatoire d'Espaces Naturels PACA at 1:30 pm. - Observation and identification of marsh birds with the Conservatoire d'Espaces Naturels PACA at 3:30 p.m. by spotting scope.
