This free event, open to all, will offer a day and evening of discovery and passion for astronomy.
Fun-filled afternoon from 2:30 pm for young and old alike, including fun and educational workshops, water rocket launches, model-building and space and astronomy initiations.
At 9:30pm: Exceptional lecture by Patrick Michel, internationally renowned astrophysicist, director of research at the CNRS, coordinator of space missions and patron of the Ollioules municipal astronomy site.
A recognized specialist in asteroids, Patrick Michel is one of the architects of NASA's DART mission, which demonstrated that it is possible to modify an asteroid's trajectory to protect the Earth.
