This exhibition is an invitation to discover the stories of these modern-day Spartans, whose often invisible exploits have shaped a rich and vibrant underground culture.
La Zone Grise brings together artists united by the same experience: evolving in the shadows, on the edge of legality, to express their art. These pioneers of graffiti, street art and alternative cultures have left their mark on the history of their discipline without seeking public recognition. Their works, ephemeral and clandestine, crossed the borders of Marseille, Rome, Berlin, Amsterdam, Helsinki... leaving behind legends and shared memories.
