This screening is offered in conjunction with the major group exhibition of the 2026 Drawing Festival, Viva l'Italia!, on display at the Museon Arlaten from April 18 to May 17.
Synopsis:
The year is 1900, on the edge of a Central European empire. Young Lieutenant Drogo has just graduated from military school and is assigned to the fortress of Bastiano, an outpost of the Empire on the edge of a vast, arid expanse: the Tartar Desert.
