With “The Wizard of Oz,” the L’Emergence Theater Company presents its first show for young audiences. It is a loose adaptation of Lyman Frank Baum’s novel of the same name, in which the story’s sets are created in real time by an illustrator.
Dorothy and her young dog Toto live in the village of Toutengris. One evening, a storm breaks out and sweeps them away to a wonderful land. Only the great and powerful Wizard of Oz can help the young girl return home. But the journey ahead of her will not be an easy one. Accompanied by three endearing characters, Dorothy and Toto will do everything they can to get back home. The L’Emergence Theater Company presents a show for young audiences, in which all the sets for this charming story are created through live illustrations.
