Description
Les Salins welcomes for the first time the Italian choreographer Ambra Senatore with her brand new creation, Le Moulin des Autres (working title).
A former director of the Nantes National Choreographic Center (CCN) for a decade, her pieces are imbued with humor and subtlety, featuring choreographic compositions built on unexpected breaks and connections.
Here, she presents a sparklingly lighthearted show exploring relationships with others and living together. Familiar musical melodies blend with simultaneous improvisations, allowing spontaneity to emerge and permeate the performance. From play to joy, there is only one step, and the other is never so different as we think. Three performers from diverse backgrounds explore how to move forward together in life and on stage through sensory experience, spoken word, dance, and music. As if around a fire, children and adults come together to tell stories, laugh, marvel, express indignation, and reflect. An ode to freedom, otherness, and living together. A sensitive and joyful piece that is also an ideal introduction to discovering one of the many faces of contemporary dance.
