Description
To mark the bicentennial of photography, discover *Le Regard du Monde*—200 Years, 200 Photographs. 200 Artists and 200 Visions: a collective journey through the territories, memories, and styles of contemporary photography.
Bringing together 200 photographers from around the world, this exhibition celebrates an open, vibrant, and democratic form of photography. Artists, professionals, knowledgeable amateurs, and both emerging and established voices come together to create a monumental panorama of today’s lives, places, memories, emotions, and aesthetics. A collective tribute to the bicentennial—broad, generous, and unmissable—driven by the diversity of perspectives and the power of contemporary reality in all its forms.
To mark the occasion, a special Focus section is dedicated to ZHANG Gengqi’s solo exhibition, titled *Silence and the Rest*. A body of work where everything seems to have been removed—and yet everything remains. In his images, the artist does not show; he allows things to emerge. Fragmentary forms, suspended masses, like the vestiges of a world already past or yet to come. The gaze gets lost in them, lingers there, suspended between presence and disappearance.
