A passionate and eclectic artist, Patrick Zygmanowski gave his first recital at the age of 11, and has since toured the greatest concert halls on five continents.
Born into the great French tradition of the piano school, he soon established himself as an exceptional performer.
Holder of two Premiers Prix - in piano and chamber music - from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, he is also a laureate of the highly selective 3ᵉ cycle, designed to train the best French soloists. His career has been crowned by several international prizes, confirming his influence beyond borders.
Patrick Zygmanowski received a scholarship from the German government to complete his training at Munich's Hochschule für Musik, before embarking on a rich and demanding international career. He has performed alongside such renowned soloists and conductors as Roland Daugareil, Renaud Capuçon, Frédéric Moreau, Florent Héau, Gérard Caussé, Roland Pidoux, as well as Naoto Otomo and Jean Deroyer.
A refined and committed performer, Patrick Zygmanowski combines virtuosity, musical depth and elegance, offering audiences concerts of great intensity and rare sensitivity.
