Description
Walk and bivouac in the Toulourenc valley, between Saint-Léger-du-Ventoux, Brantes and Savoillans. Accompanied by Pierre Peyret, follow in the footsteps of the peddler, from valley to pass, from village to hamlet.
Setting off from the bottom of the Toulourenc valley and following a stony track between Saint Léger and the Col du Pertus, our peddler now needs to find a sleeping place safe from predators. Below the Col
de Fontaube, the footprints in the silt are not very reassuring. With the moonless night approaching, our salesman hiker is pressing on! The next day, he'll need to keep up his strength to reach the friendly warmth of the little village of Brantes, where he has a few customers to visit. Then he hopes to bump into Maud and her patous, the lone shepherdess of Charles's rock. Afterwards, he'll head straight for Savoillan to refresh himself at the lavoir and enjoy the mineral waters of the Ventoux. We'll leave him there, as he's already heading... for the Alps!
