As part of the operation led by the Southern Region, we are organising a litter-picking event in Place Gambetta.
Pierrefeu-du-Var is one of 250 towns and villages to have signed up for the regional "Clean Up the South" rubbish collection campaign. Tired of seeing rubbish everywhere? To take part, all you have to do is turn up at the meeting point at Place Gambetta at 8.30am. It's a local and regional initiative that takes place in the fresh air! There will be a range of activities on offer, including roadside clean-ups at the entrances to the town, cleaning up rubbish tips (tyres, bulky items, etc.) and collecting cigarette butts in the heart of the village. Don't forget your safety waistcoats!
