Description

This spring, the Parc national de Port-Cros and the Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux PACA (LPO PACA) are inviting young and old alike to take part in a participatory science project entitled "Meet the Little Owls" in the Parc national.
Join us on an outing to discover the region's nocturnal birds of prey, and in particular one of the smallest of them all, the Scops owl. What are the differences between owls? How are they adapted to nocturnal life? How can they spot their prey in the dark? Nocturnal birds of prey will no longer hold any secrets for you. To round off the evening, we'll be taking you on a nocturnal walk to listen for Scops owls. Afterwards, you can report any sightings near you. Information and reservations at [email protected] The meeting point will be announced shortly before the outing.
