The bewitching music of this quartet opens up an unprecedented breach in the world of folk ball! Accordions of course, but also trumpet and drums with hypnotic grooves, accompany a singular voice.

++ Bal Précieux ++ The music of this quartet, founded by Perrine Vrignault, creates a completely new galaxy in the world of folk balls, which it has been scouring since 2017. After researching and collecting the ancient oral tradition of Poitou, she focused her interest on the least exploited texts before they ended up forgotten. From the feminine condition to the great departures, these poignant tunes with themes that are always very topical, sung in French in a singular voice with perfect diction, are set against resolutely innovative arrangements with a contemporary sensibility. The rhythmic modernity of two accordions, a bewitching harmonium and - not uncommonly - the drums and trumpet, which blend in perfectly with this instrumentarium, revive the colors of a repertoire reinvigorated in this way. Brassy layers, repetitive motifs, continuous sounds, percussive rhythms, heady vocals and percussive reinterpretations are sure to make you want to take your neighbor's hand and dance... with that innate sense of teamwork that breaks all barriers!
