The Great Medieval Festival of Briançon is organised every year by the association “Le Cœur de Vauban”.
Over the course of these three days, the town is decked out in its finest.
Explore the medieval market, where you’ll find stalls run by traders and craftspeople on Place Vauban.
Stroll through the town’s streets, decorated with bunting and flags; watch the jousting matches; and be surprised by the beggars.
Visit the medieval encampments, discover traditional trades, take part in medieval games and come and feast at the tavern.
Everything is designed to immerse you in the atmosphere of the Middle Ages.
Shopkeepers and restaurateurs are on hand to welcome you throughout the festival.
