Mistral Amazonas depicts the fictional meeting of two energy flows: the Mistral and the Amazon. Drawing, engraving, rayograms and lumens prints translate these energies into sensitive, poetic forms.
Peruvian artist Pepe Atocha, in residence in Arles, stages Mistral AMAZONAS, a fictional encounter between two energy flows: the Mistral and the Amazon. Their intersection gives rise to metaphors, analogies and ambiguities. Drawing, engraving, rayograms and lumens prints translate these invisible energies into sensitive, poetic forms.
