Description
By Agnès Larroque & Laure Seguette.
A hit at the Avignon Festival!
Forget everything you thought you knew about fairy tales. Madame Train is a serious expert. Very serious. Accompanied by her assistant, Mademoiselle Carton, she’s here to present a rigorous analysis of three famous fairy tales. But then, the machine jams, seriousness goes off the rails, words collide, and Mademoiselle Carton begins to take some very… unexpected liberties.
In this burlesque and whirlwind duo, the company revisits our classics and shakes up the conventions for the enjoyment of young and old alike. With biting humor, the show explores family, difference, and ecology—all without ever forgetting to make us laugh.
“It really breathes new life into these fairy tales and takes us on an hour-long wild ride, full of clever twists and little magical touches! It’s fresh, delightful, and very funny!”—Vivant Mag
