Open Day – 25th Air Engineer Regiment

A unique regiment in France, the 25th Air Engineer Regiment (25th RGA) specializes in supporting air operations: runway construction and repair, reconnaissance and explosive ordnance clearance, deployment support, and technical expertise for the French Air and Space Force. Active both in mainland France and on overseas operations, it is often among the first to be deployed, operating in demanding and sometimes extreme environments. Program for the day: Guard of honor from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for the first visitors Presentation of the regiment’s missions and expertise Flyover by the Patrouille de France at 10:15 a.m. Exhibitions of equipment and vehicles used in operations Demonstrations and interactive workshops Meet and talk with service members about careers and experiences Activities for families and younger visitors (laser shooting & airsoft stand, rides in armored vehicles, funfair, educational farm, etc.) Traditional local performances (Confrérie des Gardians, La Nacioun Gardiano, Lou Liame choir) Closing concert at 5:00 p.m. This Open Day is a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes of an operational regiment, gain a better understanding of the Air Engineer Corps’ role in air operations, and meet the men and women who serve every day. Free event, open to all Registration strongly recommended, subject to availability – ID required for entry to the 25th Air Engineer Regiment premises.
