Le Parvis string sextet invites you to a musical evening of striking contrasts, between romantic passion and baroque brilliance.
The program includes two masterpieces: Piotr Ilitch Tchaikovsky's Souvenir de Florence, an intense, luminous work, and Antonio Vivaldi's Les Quatres Saisons, an emblematic cycle of the Venetian Baroque, in which nature comes alive, sings, rumbles and blossoms with each movement.
Le Parvis deploys all the expressive richness of the string sextet in a dialogue between the centuries, in a journey from Florence to Venice, from Romanticism to Baroque splendor, carried by the finesse and energy of six accomplice musicians.
