Description
On Saturday 30 May, as part of the "Clean Up the South" campaign, meet in front of the Harbour Master's Office at Port Miramar at 9am.
Nettoyons le Sud (Let's clean up the South), the major waste-collection operation bringing together local authorities, associations and citizens from the Southern Region, is back for its fourth edition on 30 May.
This is now a not-to-be-missed environmental event, organised by the Town of La Londe, alongside the Communauté de Communes Méditerranée - Porte des Maures and numerous associations in La Londe, including the PEEP and the LAM.
Young people, families, senior citizens, everyone is getting involved to take part in this great morning of cleaning up La Londe's three beaches. The meeting point is in front of the Harbour Master's Office, Place Georges Gras, at Port Miramar, from 8am - collection starts at 9am. After the clean-up, participants will be given the opportunity to learn about bio-waste and selective sorting.
Last year, over 10,000 volunteers collected over 50 tonnes of rubbish at more than 200 collection points throughout the Southern Region! This year, more than ever, let's take up the challenge again and together, let's clean up the South!
Free parking on site.
