Description
Through December 31, 2026, the Cassis Municipal Museum invites you to take a big leap back in time with a new mini-exhibition that explores what Cassis was like tens of thousands of years ago.
This exhibition, serving as an introduction to the permanent exhibition “In the Footsteps of Ancient Cassis,” presents various aspects of the prehistoric period in Cassis and Provence
through a series of display panels (fauna, environment and landscape, the Cosquer Cave).
A QR code system has been set up so that each visitor can use their phone to access the historical content of each panel in French, English, and Spanish.
Museum Hours: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 10:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.–5:30 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
