In 2026, the Mussel Festival is getting a makeover!
Join us in the evening from 6 pm for Saturday's event. Lunch will be transformed into a musical dinner!
On the music front: the band Nath Contrôle Funky.
On Sunday, the brasucada will be back for lunch, with live music by the band Macadam.
Mussels cooked over a wood fire, served with fries, a drink, and ice cream. Hot dog option available for children or those who don't like mussels.
A little insider tip: Brasucade is a traditional and original way to cook mussels: in a large steel pan, over a high flame, the mussels slowly open and release their juices.
Once they've all opened, a wonderful mixture is added: onions, herbs de Provence, and white wine (we won't give away the recipe).
All these wonderful ingredients cook together to create the best mussels on the coast!
And always local products: the mussels come from Carteau, the rosé wine from Saint Julien les Martigues, and the fries are made from French potatoes harvested near the Étang de Berre.
The containers are recyclable, and the trays and serving platters are made of cardboard.
